Job Description

At Hyde Perth, the Farra Venue Manager will lead the full Farra food, beverage, and entertainment experience across the property—bringing together world-class service, bold design, vibrant programming, and a sense of place that’s unmistakably Hyde. You’ll be at the helm of all outlets, setting the vision, driving performance, and curating moments that spark connection, creativity, and community.
This is a role for someone who’s not only commercially sharp and operationally strong—but also deeply passionate about people, culture, and creating spaces where experiences come to life.

Main Functions

  • Lead all restaurant, bar, and entertainment operations, ensuring performance aligns with revenue, profit, and brand goals.
  • Develop and maintain Hyde-specific SOPs, high service standards, and efficient labour and cost controls.
  • Curate a dynamic food, beverage, and entertainment offering that reflects Hyde’s brand and local culture.
  • Build strong community ties and position Hyde venues as go-to destinations for locals and travelers alike.
  • Manage guest feedback and drive loyalty through personalised service and repeat guest initiatives.
  • Collaborate with PR, marketing, and brand teams to launch activations, events, and seasonal programming.
  • Monitor industry trends and implement service or product enhancements to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Partner with Ennismore’s Carte Blanched team and uphold global brand and partnership standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with all liquor, health, safety, and operational regulations.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire the R&B team with a strong focus on training, performance, and team culture.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

  • 5-7 years of experience in a food & beverage role (2+ in leadership role), preferably within a lifestyle brand.  
  • Applications will be considered with no prior hotel experience, however must have demonstrated capacity to run large teams, multi venue operations, P&L and creative strategy.
  • A hands-on people leader with pre-opening experience and experience in Australia is a plus.
  • You’re a strong team leader, a natural at managing and inspiring others in a way that gets the best out of them.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have a solid understanding of local legal compliance requirements.
  • You make people feel good - your team, guests and colleagues alike.  You make a positive impact.
  • You are an excellent relationship builder, confident in working with other teams and leaders; you’re passionate about what we can achieve together.
  • You take ownership of important issues, solve problems and make effective decisions
