Job Description
The Fairmont Gold Lounge Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional and personalized service to Fairmont Gold guests by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, maintaining impeccable presentation standards, and providing seamless food and beverage service throughout the day. The role plays a key part in creating memorable guest experiences while upholding the hotel's luxury service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service exceeding expectations.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through attentive and proactive service.
- Prepare and set up breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails, and refreshments according to brand standards.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining luxury hospitality etiquette.
- Perform guest check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately in accordance with hotel standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, including transportation, restaurant reservations, wake-up calls, and concierge-related assistance.
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through attentive and proactive service.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Executive Lounge, Club Lounge, Front Office, Restaurant, or Food & Beverage service within an international 4-star or 5-star hotel.
- Strong understanding of luxury guest service standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Additional foreign language(s) such as Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean would be an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Knowledge of Front Office procedures including check-in, check-out, cashiering, and room allocation
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
