Job Description
- Greet guests and take drink orders in a professional and timely manner.
- Take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Assisting the Bartender in preparing such as cocktails, wine, and beer to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware.
- Engage with guests, provide recommendations, and create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure excellent service and guest satisfaction.
- Participating in training sessions to stay updated on new drink recipes, menu changes, and service standards.
- Collaborating with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for guests.
- Assisting with inventory management, including ordering supplies and keeping track of stock levels.
- Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning equipment and restocking supplies as needed.
- Participating in promotional events or special themed nights to attract guests and increase revenue.
- Offering recommendations for food and drink pairings to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
- Providing support and assistance to other hotel staff members during busy periods or special events.
- Building relationships with regular guests and creating a personalized experience to encourage repeat visits and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Having knowledge in different types of beverages, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and serving drinks.
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices and compliance with regulations.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in bartending or alcohol serving is an advantage
