The 5-star Pullman Palm Cove Sea Temple Resort & Spa is only 25 minutes from Cairns airport, yet is light years from the stress of daily life located on stunning Palm Cove beach. Our ward winning restaurant Temple of Tastes offers stylish resort dining in a modern understated yet sophisticated setting whether dining inside the restaurant or alfresco on the Terrace for breakfast, lunch or dinner. 

Our resort is also the perfect location for Weddings, Meetings and Conference’s with a range of stylish and flexible spaces.

In this hands-on role you are talented, creative and result orientated with a solid background in Event Management and Operations, with an exceptional eye for detail and passion for customer service. You will be responsible for securing events, management of the event and the appropriate after function follow up. You will have your finger on the pulse when it comes to maximising conference bookings and revenue to surpass financial and operational targets.

What you will be doing:

• Conducting site inspections.
• Maintaining client database.
• Preparation and follow up of meeting and events proposals and event orders.
• Liaison with other departments to ensure all preparations for the conference or event have been made.

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to easily build rapport with internal and external clients.
• A quick thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. 
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate a number of events simultaneously.
• Previous experience in sales environment, with good understanding of events/hospitality operations.
