Job Description
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed in accordance with the daily briefing, management instructions, and Company SOPs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and colleagues at all times during excursions and activities.
- Respond promptly, appropriately, and professionally to any emergency situation.
- Interact with guests proactively, positively, and professionally at all times.
- Provide guests with accurate and comprehensive information regarding excursions, diving, water sports, and other available activities.
- Clearly explain all-inclusive activities and inclusions to guests.
- Promote and upsell diving courses, water sports activities, excursions, and other relevant services.
- Answer telephone calls professionally, providing complete and accurate information while promoting available activities and services.
- Follow up on guest complaints and ensure they are properly reported and escalated to the appropriate management team.
- Deliver engaging, informative, and comprehensive guest briefings, with particular emphasis on safety procedures and requirements.
- Conduct and guide excursions in accordance with Company standards and SOPs, with maximum attention to guest safety, service quality, and overall guest experience.
- Assist the Water Sports team when required, including covering the desk, taking bookings, assisting guests, and supporting the closing of the center in the evening.
- Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and in accordance with SOPs and management instructions.
- Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and proper condition of all equipment and facilities.
- Comply with all Company policies, procedures, standards, and instructions, and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the reporting Manager/Supervisor.
- Ensure all relevant information and communications are properly conveyed through the appropriate channels and levels of command.
Qualifications
- Maldivian national
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a hospitality, guest service, or related position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to build and maintain positive rapport with colleagues, management, and guests.
- Ability to work effectively and cohesively as part of a diverse team.
- Strong guest-focused approach, remaining calm, courteous, and professional at all times.
- Ability to promote positive relations with hotel guests and patrons.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills when handling difficult or challenging guests.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
