Job Description
Rixos Phu Quoc is seeking a skilled and proactive Engineering Supervisor to join our Engineering team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the resort’s facilities, systems, and equipment are maintained to the highest operational and safety standards, supporting the seamless operation of all hotel departments and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the engineering team and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently and in line with hotel standards. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and other departments, the supervisor will help ensure that all areas of the resort, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and technical systems, remain fully operational and well maintained.
In this role, you will supervise maintenance staff, assign daily tasks, and monitor the completion of preventive maintenance and repair work across the property. You will also respond to maintenance requests from various departments, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and effectively to minimise disruption to hotel operations.
The Engineering Supervisor will assist in monitoring building systems such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air conditioning equipment, ensuring that all systems operate safely and efficiently. The role includes coordinating with other departments on technical requirements, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and hotel procedures.
The successful candidate will also support the training and development of the engineering team, promote safe working practices, and ensure tools, equipment, and engineering workspaces are properly maintained and organised.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in engineering or maintenance within a hotel, resort, or large facility environment. Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting are essential for success in this role at Rixos Phu Quoc.
