• Oversee all engineering and maintenance activities to ensure the resort’s infrastructure, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently.

• Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure longevity of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency, as well as LQA standards.

• Lead, train, and develop the engineering team, ensuring they have the technical skills and knowledge to maintain high operational standards.

• Develop and manage the engineering department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance, repairs, and energy consumption while maintaining service standards.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular risk assessments and audits.

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance management, preferably in the hospitality or luxury resort industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems, with hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance expertise.
• Experience managing budgets, procurement, and vendor negotiations to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and reporting tools, ensuring efficient tracking of maintenance activities.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to lead a diverse technical team.
