Engineering Manager

Sofitel Taksim, a luxury hotel nestled in the heart of Istanbul's vibrant Taksim district, is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. **Responsibilities:**

1. Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

2. Coordinate and execute preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and facilities.

3. Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.

4. Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance issues and ensure seamless operations.

5. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve maintenance concerns promptly.

6. Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising quality.

7. Source and liaise with external contractors when necessary for specialized repairs or projects.

8. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service contracts.

1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a hospitality setting, preferably within the luxury hotel industry.

2. Strong technical knowledge and skills in various areas of maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility management.

3. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

4. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

5. Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to building maintenance and safety.

6. Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work well under pressure.

7. Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of maintenance management software.

8. Relevant certifications or qualifications in maintenance and facilities management.
