Engineering Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Maintenance Manager to join our organization in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. You will manage a team of maintenance professionals while developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Analyze equipment performance data and maintenance metrics to identify trends, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency
• Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively to support operational needs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry-specific requirements across all maintenance activities
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external service providers to procure parts, services, and specialized maintenance support
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and facilities to assess maintenance needs and identify potential risks
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports, performance reviews, and recommendations for senior management
• Implement and maintain computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant tracking tools
• Establish and enforce maintenance protocols, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptions
• Identify training needs and provide onboarding and professional development opportunities for maintenance staff

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in maintenance management or a similar supervisory role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or industrial equipment systems
• Proven experience in team leadership, staff management, and performance evaluation
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance planning software
• Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, cost control, and resource allocation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
• Experience working in the United Arab Emirates or Middle Eastern industrial environment (preferred)
• Certification in maintenance management, reliability engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Project management experience and skills (preferred)
• Advanced technical certifications or specialized equipment expertise (preferred)
