What you’ll do... 

We are looking for a Maintenance intern to join the team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing support in all aspects related to preventive and corrective maintenance of all areas of the hotel (swimming pool, common areas, kitchens, rooms, etc...). 

• Verify receiving and storage procedures daily to ensure they are being followed. 

• Verify that products are received, issued, documented, stored and ordered according to company guidelines. 

• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities. 

• Collaborate with outsourced services in the area. 

• Attend daily reports reported at the hotel. 

• Record incidents using maintenance management software. 

• Maintain order and cleanliness in work areas, workshops and warehouses. 

• Check the correct operation of the facilities. 

What we are looking for... 

• You’re studying a bachelor’s/master’s degree in facilities management, maintenance, or a related technical field.

• You have the possibility to sign an agreement with your school for a period of preferably 6 months.

• You are available to start as soon as possible.

• You take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions. 

• You learn quickly and adapt to SLS’s unique culture. 

• You are humble and open to ideas. We leave our ego at the door and help get things done.
