Job Description

The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Engineering department with a variety of administrative functions including, but not limited to:

  • Creating purchase orders and ordering materials for the department
  • Posting schedules and ensuring accurate payroll processing
  • Scheduling work with 3rd party contractors and managing regular maintenance schedules 
  • Working with the Director of Engineering to maintain all life safety and health related documents
  • Managing and monitoring task management systems for the engineering department and all related work orders
  • Processing invoices for purchased items, contract labor and service calls.
  • Actively participating in energy conservation programs.
  • Reviewing all guest and meeting planner feedback to ensure problems are identified and corrected in a timely manner.
  • Executing other administrative items as assigned by Director of Engineering

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Previous hotel experience required, with experience in a luxury setting preferred
  • Must hold a valid U.S. work authorization
