Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair works in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.

• Respond promptly to guests’ maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.

• Assist in routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and hotel facilities.

• Support senior technicians/engineers in major repair projects.

• Perform basic troubleshooting for electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and mechanical systems.

• Ensure tools and equipment are properly handled and stored.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the engineering workshop and work areas.

• Follow hotel safety and security policies, including proper handling of hazardous materials.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.

• Assist in energy-saving initiatives and proper usage of utilities.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Supervisor.

• High school or technical/vocational school graduate in engineering or related field.

• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

• Previous hotel or facility maintenance experience is an advantage.

• Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions.

• Good communication skills and guest-oriented attitude.

• Physically fit to perform manual tasks and handle tools/equipment.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duty.
