Job Description

We are looking for a commercially minded, relationship-driven Sales Manager to lead our growth in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events) and Groups sectors on a flexible, part-time basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving room nights and function revenue by converting enquiries, conducting proactive sales outreach, and developing long-term partnerships across the Perth corporate, event, and group travel markets.

What you will be doing:

Manage inbound leads for meetings, conferences, and functions. Prepare tailored proposals, conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts, and close sales opportunities efficiently.

Proactively secure ad-hoc and series group bookings (sports teams, tour groups, corporate delegates) while nurturing existing business relationships.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the local Perth CBD and regional WA markets.

 Partner closely with Hotel Operations, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth handovers and exceptional event execution.

Maintain accurate sales tracking in CRM systems and participate in weekly revenue and strategy meetings.


Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:
2+ years of hotel, venue, or hospitality sales experience with a focus on MICE, Events, or Group bookings.
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Highly responsible & reliable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
