Our Hotel

The Sydney Boulevard Hotel, a classic establishment near Sydney’s CBD, boasts 275 well-appointed guest rooms, 2 food and beverage outlets, and 11 function rooms.

We are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high operational standards.

We are currently seeking dedicated and dynamic Full Time & Part Time Housekeeping Attendants to join our team, support our Housekeeping Team, and help ensure guest requirements are always met with delivery of exceptional service.


Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay.

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and concerns
  • Restock guest room supplies, including toiletries, linens, and amenities
  • Properly handle and store cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
  • Maintain guest privacy and security of personal belongings
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to anticipate and proactively address guest needs
  • Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
  • Basic English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Familiarity with Australian hospitality standards and regulations
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
