Job Description
You will perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for the guests and staff.
Your working week (which will include weekend work) will look something like this:
- 4 x 10 hour shifts (these will be rostered across weekends also)
- 7.30 am starts, finishing at 6 pm
- Be prepared to cover not only hotel maintenance, but grounds, pool care, plant and machinery maintenance
- Servicing of equipment within and outside of the hotel, painting, building and repairing
Qualifications
Preferred experience and skills include:
- A minimum of 3 years relevant building maintenance experience
- Have been working in a trade for the last 12 months
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable (own transport)
- Good understanding of our community
- Is a team player with adaptability and able to work under pressure
