Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join the Front Office team at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will: 

  • Lead a shift of front office professionals, including our overnight team, ensuring our guest experience is at the forefront at all times
  • Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining procedures for the front office department and fostering a focus on guest engagement
  • Assist with the management of the team including training and development, ensuring the team’s success
  • Handle complex guest queries and feedback
  • Have the ability to work a rotating roster, including overnight, weekends and public holidays

Qualifications

About you

  • Previous experience in a similar role with proven success
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Desire to grow your skills and progress your managerial experience
  • Ability to work autonomously when leading the overnight team
  • Previous experience with a PMS (Opera experience will be highly regarded)
  • Reliability & flexibility to work a rotating roster 
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and First Aid certification (or be willing to obtain)
