Nestled at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, just two hours north of Downtown Vancouver, Fairmont Chateau Whistler defines mountain luxury. Offering ski-in, ski-out convenience in the winter, and an on-site championship golf course in the summer, we are Canada’s year-round outdoor adventure destination. Additionally, we are Whistler's largest conference resort hotel, offering 5 unique dining outlets, a slope-side Health Club, and 519 guestrooms and suites.
As a Dishwasher, you will assist in the execution of memorable food and beverage experiences for our guests, being the heart of our F&B team by ensuring plates and crockery are consitently clean and back on the lines.
Starting Rate of Pay: $20.00
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.00 per hour.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces in the kitchen spaces
- Responsible for keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
- Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment
- Other duties as assigned
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate & Safe Food Handling Certificate (both can be completed upon employment)
- Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean abstract is required
