Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Director, Partnerships, MEA APAC to join our team. This role will be based in Thailand and will be reporting directly to the VP Loyalty & Partnerships, MEA APAC with the SVP Global Partnerships as the role’s matrix manager. This role is responsible for executing the region’s partnerships strategy through onboarding and activating partners, optimizing revenue performance, and growing brand advocacy for the ALL-loyalty program, Accor Plus Subscription products and web direct channel. This position is required to understand and align internal & external stakeholders’ needs and limitations, and strong project management and problem-solving skill to impact results. This role will enhance the performance of partners in MEA APAC and maximize the partners’ benefits that they can bring to Accor. 

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities: 

New Partnerships 

  • Once commercial and deal is finalized, the Director Partnerships will ensure the contracting/onboarding end-to-end process of new partner to go Live. 

  • Contracting: Draft partnership contracts (using template) and oversees end-to-end contract approval process between Accor legal and partner, until contract is fully executed.  

  • Integrating and Onboarding: Align with Central Partnership functions and prepare & submit all paperwork to start integration and onboarding process of all new partners.  

  • Integration: Oversees and project-manage all end-to-end integration process between Accor DF and new partner. 

  • New Partnerships Optimisation – Develop launch and marketing plan to grow new partners’ cash-in revenue contribution as quick as possible and bringing potential activations promptly to relevant internal stakeholders. 

Existing Partnerships 

  • Execute Partnerships strategy plan set by VPs Partnerships in respective markets to drive revenue growth of Partnerships portfolio. 

  • Day-to-Day contact for non-key Strategic Partners, working closely with partners to develop and execute campaigns, marketing channels opportunities, and discover new/expanded opportunities to grow the value proposition of the partners that are aligned with established partnerships strategy. 

  • Work closely with all relevant internal stakeholders to ensure understanding and timely activation of partnerships activities/plans. 

Supporting Key Strategic Partners 

  • Supports relevant VPs Partnerships in follow-up tasks for key partners whenever needed (e.g. VISA/Mastercard/AMEX or Cross Reward partners) 

  • Develop partnership opportunities with key national tourist bodies in conjunction with regional commercial leaders and MEA APAC Marketing team. 


Qualifications

What we need from you 

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or business management with minimum of 5 years in a Partnerships position withing the global Hospitality/Financial/Loyalty industries. 

  • Financial Services and/or Airlines knowledge are desirable. 

  • Familiar working in Matrix-reporting environment. 

  • Multi-market background. 

  • Commercial Acumen. 

  • Project Management. 

  • Entrepreneurial & strategic spirit – ability to detect potential. 

  • Collaborative & interpersonal skills. 

  • Problem solving skills. 

  • Ability to listen, understand, and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
