Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Sales - Corporate to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This key leadership role will drive our corporate sales strategy, ensuring revenue growth and market leadership in the region.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for corporate clients, aligning with overall business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the sales team, setting clear performance targets and providing ongoing coaching
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with key corporate clients
  • Oversee the management of key accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to maintain a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to develop innovative pricing strategies and sales packages
  • Manage departmental budget and oversee sales-related contracts, agreements, and proposals
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market analysis to senior leadership
  • Champion interdepartmental collaboration to deliver cohesive and memorable service experiences
  • Act as a visible role model for the highest standards of professionalism and brand representation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading corporate sales teams to achieve revenue targets
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sales planning, account management, and business development
  • Strong understanding of corporate sales market trends and best practices
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management systems
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding leadership and coaching abilities, with a proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and public speaking skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed business decisions
  • Results-oriented with meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Innovative mindset, constantly seeking creative ways to secure new business opportunities
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong network within the corporate sector
  • Willingness to travel for business development and client meetings
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian business culture and corporate landscape is a plus
