We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations for The Hoxton, Bangalore.
The Hoxton is opening its very first neighbourhood hotel in Asia, coming to India’s Bengaluru city centre in 2026. This is a major milestone for the brand as it ventures into a new continent entirely and we are now looking for a brilliant leadership team to help bring this lifestyle brand to the market.
Located in the heart of the city centre, The Hoxton, Bengaluru City will bring its undeniable brand DNA and guest experience to India’s “Silicon Valley”, a high-tech city filled with parks and gardens and known for its vibrant cafe and pub culture - very apt for a brand that was founded in London!
The hotel will feature 149 bedrooms in a variety of The Hoxton’s well-loved room categories and the lobby will have a vibrant all-day dining restaurant & bar. Topping off the hotel we will have a rooftop pool and bar, large scale function rooms and The Apartment - The Hoxton’s unique meeting & events concept

What you’ll do…
At the core of your role will be to ensure our guests are having a great and unique experience with us. You’ll also…
- Impact all areas of the business, from the big picture to the small details.
- Take responsibility for the financial side of things: owning your P&L, contributing to annual budget planning and generally mastering the balance between cost and quality that The Hoxton is known for.
- Make quality your middle name. You’d never be satisfied with being number 255 on TripAdvisor; you’ll lead our existing Quality Evaluation processes and find ways to make them better.
- Lead and manage a team of high-energy people who love our guests, by setting and monitoring goals, empowering and developing them, and creating an environment where people can be themselves.
- Be great at spinning multiple plates – it’s a fast-paced place and we like to keep a handful of projects on the go at the same time.
- Oversee manpower scheduling and maintaining budgeted payroll cost%.
What we’re looking for…
- An experienced, commercially savvy operator with 2+ years’ experience, having previously worked in a lifestyle or high-end contemporary hotel would be an advantage.
- You’re as comfortable with the strategic as with the day-to-day detail and can easily connect the two.
- A natural at leading and managing others, you lead by example and create an environment where your team can be their best self.
