Hyde Ibiza is a festival-inspired food lovers paradise and showcase for music and nightlife, featuring 401 rooms with natural textures and artisan touches.

Together the properties will have 7 restaurant and bar outlets, ranging from premium sushi and an ocean-to-table Balearic fare, all of them highly programmed.

Reporting to the General Manager. The hotels are operated by Ennismore, the fastest growing lifestyle hospitality company, in collaboration with Grupo Azul Mar Cala Llonga owned by Apollo.


Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • Responsible for overseeing all accounting/finance duties and management reporting for multi-site Hotel, food and beverage venues including but not limited to: full cycle month end closes, financial statement preparation, complex account analysis, reconciliation, as well as budgeting and forecasting for Hotel,  Restaurant, Night Life Divisions
  • Prepare, review, and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports in line with USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry).
  • Oversee compliance with tax regulations, GDPR, and statutory reporting obligations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring prompt resolution of audit findings.
  • Ensuring data integrity and accuracy as well as development and documentation of system controls, operational procedures and business process improvements
  • Support Cash Flow management, including daily banking, reconciliations, and cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain balance sheet analysis on a monthly basis with full supporting
  • Supervise, manage and mentor their staff in all areas of accounting including but not limited to technical training, professional development and conducting and delivering performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance of budgets and cost controls; and will also be responsible to train venue Managers in financial accounting as needed
  • Ensure accuracy and alignment of financial systems: Opera PMS, Micros POS, SunSystems, Birchstreet.
  • Assist Director of Finance in ensuring hotel’s compliance to all regulatory licenses and permits, leases, contracts, legal agreements, and the proper execution of all operational taxes. Provide assistance to management in enforcing compliance on all these items.
  • We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service. We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to explain financial data to non-finance managers.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and hospitality systems (Opera, Micros, Birhcstreet).
  • Fluent in English.
