Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Director Finance to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our executive leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, driving strategic financial planning, and ensuring the organization's fiscal health and growth.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's long-term objectives
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, capital budgets, and rolling forecasts in collaboration with the General Manager and department heads
  • Oversee the production of timely and accurate financial reports for management, corporate office, and owners
  • Analyze financial data and communicate meaningful insights to guide decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Manage cash flow, approve disbursements, and optimize working capital
  • Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets
  • Direct the accounting department, ensuring efficient operations and optimal staffing levels
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to enhance revenues and improve cost efficiencies
  • Collaborate with other executives to drive business growth and profitability
  • Oversee capital expenditure processes and fixed asset management
  • Foster a culture of financial accountability and transparency across the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence and collaborate at all levels
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and performance metrics
  • Expertise in implementing and maintaining internal control systems
  • Proficiency in advanced financial software and ERP systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of risk management and corporate governance principles
  • Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and reporting standards (preferred)
  • Visionary mindset with the ability to align financial strategies with organizational goals
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make decisive financial decisions
