Rattaché au directeur Général, le directeur Commercial assure la planification et la gestion des ventes et du marketing de l’hôtel, avec pour objectif d’optimiser le taux d’occupation. Il a pour mission de maximiser les revenus et d’atteindre/de dépasser les objectifs de rentabilité de l’hôtel.
Le Directeur Commercial est responsable de l’ensemble des revenus de l’hôtel, parmi lesquels l’hébergement des groupes et des clients de passage, la restauration des groupes, la location des salles de réunion, le service de restauration de l’hôtel et les autres revenus. Il contribue et participe activement aux stratégies de gestion du rendement et supervise le service de réservation. Les stratégies qu’il élabore concernent le market mix, la tarification, le statut, les ventes directes et le marketing.
Principales responsabiliés :
- Diriger et gérer toutes les activités commerciales dédiées aux groupes, aux clients de passage et à la restauration/aux banquets, dans l’optique de maximiser les revenus de l’hôtel
- Préparer, exploiter et compiler les données destinées à la stratégie commerciale, aux comptes rendus mensuels, aux objectifs annuels, au budget des ventes et du marketing, aux prévisions et aux autres comptes rendus, conformément aux instructions/besoins
- Etudier, examiner et analyser l’environnement concurrentiel, les tendances du marché ainsi que les besoins et les commentaires des clients, afin de faire preuve d’initiative et de s’adapter judicieusement sur le plan stratégique
- Mettre au point de nouveaux programmes et de nouvelles stratégies, et évaluer l’efficacité des programmes et des stratégies en place
- Gérer/diriger toutes les activités de publicité, de relations publiques et de promotion conjointement avec les services de relations publiques et de marketing du groupe
- Prendre activement part aux présentations commerciales, aux visites des sites et aux rencontres avec les clients
- Veiller au respect optimal de la stratégie d’audit du groupe
- Gérer les problèmes de performance qui surviennent au sein des équipes de vente et de réservation
- Veiller à embaucher, former, motiver, encadrer, conseiller et faire évoluer comme il se doit les membres du service
- Communiquer efficacement avec les autres services
- Se réunir quotidiennement avec le service pour discuter des activités clés du moment
- Evaluer les évolutions des besoins des clients, de la composition de la clientèle et du paysage concurrentiel, afin de proposer les changements opérationnels et de produits/services qui s’imposent, le cas échéant
- Veiller à la satisfaction des collaborateurs et des clients de l’hôtel, tout en restant compétitifs sur le marché et exceptionnellement performants sur le plan financier
- Anticiper et régler les problèmes avec les clients et mettre en place des processus proactifs visant à promouvoir la satisfaction Clientèle
- Prendre part à des organisations professionnelles et communautaires, afin de s’assurer une grande visibilité et de promouvoir une image positive
- Etre une source d’inspiration pour l’ensemble du personnel de l’hôtel afin de l’inciter à proposer des performances dignes d’un établissement de grand luxe
- Interagir de manière positive avec tous les membres de l’équipe afin de garantir aux clients l’accueil attendu d’un établissement de grand luxe
- Montrer l’exemple en respectant scrupuleusement les Valeurs Sofitel, les codes de la marque et les consignes concernant la tenue et la présentation
