Job Description

At MAMA, we don’t just run hotels — we create places full of life, laughter, and creativity. We’re looking for a Digital, Marketing & Communications Manager who can bring fresh ideas, digital know-how, and strong communication skills to strengthen our visibility and brand image.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll take the lead on digital campaigns, PR, events, and brand storytelling — making sure MAMA stays top of mind for guests, media, and our local community.

Job Overview

Digital & Marketing Operations

  • Manage the marketing budget, forecasting, and tracking to maximise ROI.
  • Plan and execute digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, etc.) to drive awareness, engagement, and direct bookings.
  • Oversee brand.com and third-party listings, ensuring accurate content and timely updates.
  • Develop and manage social media calendars, leveraging trends to boost engagement.
  • Partner with agencies and commercial teams to deliver high-performing paid media campaigns.
  • Maintain brand consistency across social, website, email, and advertising.
  • Collaborate with CRM and loyalty teams on email marketing and personalised offers.
  •  Keep marketing materials, databases, and photo/video archives updated.
  • Work with Rooms, F&B, and Banquet teams to support bookings through marketing initiatives.
  • Support hotel openings, activations, and special projects.
  • Ensure all activities meet brand standards of quality and professionalism.

Public Relations & Events

  • Handle press inquiries and manage media relations to increase visibility.
  • Plan and deliver PR events to strengthen the hotel’s image.
  • Host and support media stays, ensuring a memorable guest experience.
  • Create innovative initiatives to keep excitement around the hotel.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local journalists, influencers, and VIPs.

 


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing, PR, and digital marketing, ideally in hospitality.
  • Strong project management and event planning expertise.
  • Skilled in building media, influencer, and VIP relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with digital ad platforms and analytics tools.
  • Proficient in budget management and maximising ROI.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with strong execution skills.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator (video editing a plus).
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently, prioritise, and deliver under pressure.
