Reporting to Digital Experience & Performance Manager (based in Dubai), the Digital Experience Intern will play a hands-on part in maintaining the digital presence, supporting day-to-day website operations, and driving E-commerce business across multiple platforms, including Raffles.com, Fairmont.com, ALL.com and the ALL.com App.
As a key liaison between the brand digital team and our global property teams, you will ensure our digital platforms mirror the high-touch, "white-glove" service of our physical hotels. This role offers an immersive learning experience in luxury e-commerce, content strategy, and digital performance management, while directly contributing to the digital guest journey from discovery to booking.
Overview of Activities:

· Content Management: Support regular content updates across key global brand pages (e.g., Homepage, Dining, Spa, Golf, and brand initiatives).
· Editorial Updates: Assist in publishing "living" and dynamic content (e.g., new hotel openings, Fairmont Magazine, destination travel pages).
· Brand Integrity: Ensure all copy, imagery, and links adhere strictly to brand tone of voice, formatting standards, and luxury positioning.
· Coordination: Support the alignment of website content in coordination with cross-functional global marketing and editorial calendars.
2. Property Assistance & Support
· Property Enablement: Act as a first-line support contact for individual hotel property teams contributing content to the websites.
· Quality Assurance: Review and quality-check content submitted by properties, ensuring outstanding grammar, brand alignment, SEO compliance, and luxury image quality before publishing.
· Guidance & Education: Support the creation of guides, and help educate property teams on CMS usage, brand digital guidelines, and content best practices.
· Issue Triage: Manage and prioritize incoming support requests and content inquiries from properties, resolving simple tasks and escalating critical issues to the senior team.
· Feedback Loop: Help flag recurring property pain points to identify training gaps or process improvements.
3. General Website Maintenance & Quality Control
· Asset Lifecycle: Proactively monitor and assist in managing expiring digital and image assets to maintain licensing compliance.
· Content Audits: Conduct routine content audits to detect and resolve outdated, broken, or inconsistent pages and links.
· Device QA: Perform rigorous quality assurance checks across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms (checking for rendering issues, broken links, 404 errors, and typos).
· Technical Escalations: Identify and document CMS or front-end technical bugs, and log them clearly for the technical product or IT development teams.
· SEO Support: Assist in executing basic SEO and GEO best practices (e.g., optimizing alt text, heading hierarchies, meta descriptions, and internal linking structures).
4. Performance & Monitoring Support
· Analytics Reporting: Pull foundational web performance metrics (page views, unique visitors, bounce rates, booking funnel drop-offs) from tools like GA4, ContentSquare, or Tableau.
· Competitor Benchmarking: Research and compile benchmarking reports on digital trends and features across other luxury hospitality and lifestyle websites.
Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Experience: Previous internship, university project, or personal experience in content management, blogging, or digital marketing is highly preferred.
· Digital Literacy: Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Drupal) is a strong plus. Basic understanding of SEO concepts (headings, metadata, keyword intent). Interest in or basic knowledge of web analytics (e.g., GA4, ContentSquare).
· Language & Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a sharp eye for grammar, spelling, and copyediting. Additional languages (especially French or Arabic) are an advantage.
· Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with an eye for design, typography, and image cropping to maintain an ultra-luxury aesthetic.
Qualities:
· Curious Learner: Possesses a natural curiosity about digital product management, UI/UX, and data-driven performance marketing.
· Collaborative Spirit: Comfortable working in a matrix environment, providing expert service to multiple brand leaders while maintaining functional excellence.
· Proactive Self-starter: Comfortable working independently and managing your own workflow. You are a disciplined "remote-integrated" professional who keeps projects moving forward.
· Innovation Mindset: A proactive desire to move beyond "maintenance" to drive continuous digital advancement.
· Luxury-Minded: Appreciates the "white-glove" standard of service and is eager to translate it into a frictionless, elegant online guest journey.
