As the Director of E-Commerce, you will be responsible for the commercial strategy and delivery of the revenue targets for our Hoxton properties across Hoxton.com and All.com, through driving digital sales and optimising the e-commerce experience.
Leading a team of 4 across Website, CRO, Digital Marketing and CRM, you will ultimately be accountable for the brand and hotels hitting their Web Direct targets and success in this role is to deliver budgeted revenue and channel share.
You will be part of a multi-stakeholder leadership team with brand, ecommerce, product, revenue, and data. Collaborate cross-departmentally to implement initiatives that increase direct bookings and improve the overall user experience on our websites.
This role focuses on commercial acumen, senior multi-stakeholder collaboration, operational execution, digital marketing, and revenue management to ensure our digital platforms meet business objectives.
What you'll do...
- Deliver the commercial plan: Deliver the annual Ecommerce commercial plan across brand moments, global campaigns, promotions and product changes to hit monthly targets and the overall brand and regional strategies.

- Analyse performance on a monthly basis with clear action plans where needed, reporting to Ecommerce EVP, Brand COO and hotels teams accordingly.
- Commercial Initiatives: Develop exclusive offers, content and customer journey optimisation and direct sales initiatives on brand websites.
- Partner with Loyalty teams across the business to build and nurture the customer base.
- Monitor pricing structures to ensure competitiveness with third-party sales channels.
- Lead Acquisition and Retention Marketing: Oversee the agency and your internal marketing team, driving the strategy and multichannel campaigns for the Hoxton, developing full funnel digital marketing and media campaigns that effectively drive traffic and convert into direct bookings.
- Own and manage the budget to maximise sales, ROI and creative best practices.
- New Openings Best Practice: Guide the digital readiness of newly opening Hoxton properties, ensuring that the market is primed and their websites are optimised for launch and align with company-wide e-commerce strategies.
- Collaborate on Product Enhancements: Work closely with the product and engineering team to ensure that product development aligns with commercial objectives. Contribute to the CRO plan to deliver benchmark’s KPO across the entire group and your brands – looking at content experience, UX and product optimisation features. Support the prioritisation of website features that drive direct bookings, enhance user engagement, and improve the effectiveness of brand websites.
- Data and Analysis: Work with the Data and Insights team to assess website performance at the individual hotel level and use the data to come up with actionable recommendations to improve key metrics.
- Features implementation support: Engage with property teams to implement new digital features and ensure they fully utilise digital tools and processes to enhance their online presence.
- Triage & Troubleshoot Website Issues: Help triage website and booking engine related issues, coordinate troubleshooting efforts with the support team, and ensure rapid resolution to minimise business impact.
What we're looking for...

- Ability to work in a fast evolving, high pressure commercial environment, delivering against tight deadlines.
- Experience in working with and influencing senior stakeholders and being able to drive business change and focus.
- Experience in collaborating with revenue management teams to align digital marketing and e-commerce efforts with pricing strategies and promotions.
- Experience in e-commerce leadership, with an understanding of digital product development, user experience, and revenue optimisation.
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing, including performance marketing, paid media, SEO, and AI. Proven experience in supporting successful marketing campaigns.
- Highly analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making. Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CRM, and marketing platforms to track and optimise performance. Excel proficiency required.
