We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Credit Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our hotel's credit operations, managing financial risks, and ensuring optimal cash flow.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Accounts Receivable department
- Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures
- Analyze financial data and credit reports to assess customer creditworthiness
- Manage and mitigate financial risks associated with extending credit to customers
- Oversee the processing of third-party claims and maintenance of customer accounts
- Investigate and resolve complex collection issues
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to optimize credit terms and conditions
- Prepare and present financial reports and recommendations to senior management
- Ensure compliance with local and international credit laws and regulations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-effective resource utilization
- Provide leadership and guidance to the credit team, fostering a culture of excellence
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit management or a similar role
- Proven track record of successfully managing accounts receivable and credit operations
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit management principles
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to make decisive and sound financial decisions
