Description du poste

This position will oversee all financial activities of Luxury new legal entities in Poland, UK and Germany, serving as key point of contact for external accounting firms and ensuring financial reporting accuracy, compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, as well as the implementation of effective internal controls.

The role will also liaise with business partner LL functional stakeholders based in Europe and Hotel Assets finance teams on all matters related to accounting processes, systems and policies. The role will be reporting to the SVP FP&A & Cororate Finance, Luxury and lifestyle Division in France.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee corporate finance activities for luxury entities across Germany, UK, and Poland, serving as the key contact for external accounting firms supporting these entities and guiding the teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for each entity in adherence to local and international accounting standards.
  • Consolidate financial data across entities using OneStream, aligning with Group guidelines for monthly closings and reporting.
  • Institute proper internal controls and alignment with Group DOA.
  • Act as the business partner for finance functions Luxury Hotel Assets, providing them guidance as needed on reporting and accounting matters (Lido, Potel & Chabot).
  • Business partner team members based in Europe across functions in the LL Division on accounting processes and systems (Aspen, Concur)
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and tax requirements
  • Possess deep knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
  • Coordinate activities with external auditors, managing inquiries and audit requests
  • Provide support to Treasury, Tax, and Financial Planning and Analysis teams as required.

 


Qualifications

Competences

  • 8+ years of Finance / Accounting
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Finance / MBA / Accounting qualification
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry as a plus
  • Management of remote teams a plus
  • Fluency in English & French
  • Drive projects and alignment in a new organization with new teams and scope
