Job Description

As a chef, do you like to work in a warm team that is really there for each other?

Food and drink, that is your passion! You want to ensure that every guest enjoys their food and has the best experience in our hotel on the Spui. Together with your colleagues you ensure that the dishes are produced at the highest level.

As an independent chef at Mercure The Hague Central, you and your colleagues provide our guests with breakfast, lunch or dinner. You do all this with the knowledge and passion you have for food and drinks. You are happiest when you are busy providing every guest with a delicious dish within the established recipes. Your dishes not only look tasty but also neat. You work neatly and hygiene is of paramount importance to you, so we don't have to tell you anything about the rules (HACCP). You keep your workplace clean and tidy it up when your shift is over. To ensure that the quality in our kitchen remains constant, you also carry out regular checks, such as the shelf life of the products. We are looking for an independently working chef for 30.4 - 38 hours per week.

Every day we present the most beautiful dishes to our guests to which your creativity and inspiration can contribute. Sharing knowledge and skills with the rest of the team is something that is central to us. We are looking for a true catering enthusiast. Someone who has a heart for the kitchen. Additional Information

What do we offer you?

Full-time salary based on scale 5 of the Horeca Collective Labor Agreement (approximately €2488). We pay 7.5% above the catering collective labor agreement;
Pension accrual;
Worldwide discount at Accor hotels;
Travel allowance up to €23 per day;
You get 25 days of vacation per year if you promise to come back ;-)
