Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic Conference & Banqueting team here at Old Thorns Golf Resort & Spa Hampshire!

We are passionate about hospitality and our Conference & Banqueting team help to provide a smooth and efficient services for our customers and help to create the memories during the most important moments of our customers lives.

This role mainly consists of providing Food & Beverage services to our guests attending Conferences, Weddings and other events using our ballrooms and meeting rooms.

We kindly ask that you are available for a flexible rota, where evenings and weekends are required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Food & Beverage Service during events.
  • Assisting with set up and clear down before and after events.
  • Assist with set up, food and drink service and clear down after events.
  • Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Be confident and knowledgeable about food & drink and in current liquor licensing laws and ensure these are strictly adhered to.
  • Help in other areas of the Food & Beverage department, where required.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Valid Right to Work in the UK - Sponsorship not available for this position.
  • Ideally over the age of 18 to comply with the Licensing Act 2003, however, applicants are considered under 18 with alcohol-restricted duties.
  • Entry level role - previous experience is desirable but not required.
  • Available to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)

The pay listed is based on a scale and is affected by factors, including prior experience and qualifications.
