What you’ll do:
- Prepare and cook dishes to high standards across different sections of the kitchen
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and a clean, organised workspace
- Work closely with the team and supervisor to manage daily requirements
- Minimise waste and support cost control
- Contribute ideas to improve service and efficiency
- Ensure safe practices and follow hotel health & safety guidelines
This is a part-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, offering flexibility to take on additional shifts depending on your availability and hotel demand. Earn $27.68 per hour while building your experience in a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Passion for food and a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a similar role (à la carte experience preferred)
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver consistent quality
- A flexible team player, available to work on a rotating roster (7 days)
- NZ residency or a permanent NZ work visa (sponsorship not available)
