Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Purchasing Manager to join our team in Movenpick Resort El Qusier & Swissôtel Resort El Quseir, Egypt. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing purchasing activities across a cluster of properties, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to maximize value and minimize costs across the cluster
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions
  • Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, across multiple properties
  • Analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and align purchasing strategies accordingly
  • Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Manage and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, fostering their growth and development
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies in all purchasing activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles, in hospitality industry
  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
  • Proficiency and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams effectively
  • Strong budgeting and cost control capabilities
  • In-depth understanding of local and international procurement practices
  • Knowledge of Egyptian business regulations and customs procedures
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is required
