Job Description

We are seeking an organized and efficient Accounts Assistant to join our team in Udaipur, India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting department by managing various financial tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and performing data entry tasks
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
  • Handle expense reports and reimbursements
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Respond to accounting-related inquiries from internal staff and external partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Indian accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
