Job Description

  • The General Manager is responsible for oversight of the 3 Fiji properties – Novotel Nadi, Novotel Suva & Mercure Nadi.
  • Based at the Novotel Nadi as General Manager,  you will ensure the smooth operation of the Hotels and prepare for the exciting refurbishment project.
  • Leading & inspiring teams throughout the 3 properties, driving the people & culture, revenue, sustainability and performance.
  • Provide operational and strategic direction to the Hotel and Management teams and be an inspiration to all Heartists to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Strategically manage owner relationships and represent Accor at the highest level of industry and government. They will be accountable for business plans, sales and marketing strategies, annual budget and profit in the hotel.
  • Ensure long term profitability of the operational departments and the hotel, maximizing revenue and yield opportunities.
  • Conduct regular analysis on all departments to continuously improve productivity, quality, market competitiveness and service standards.
  • Train, coach and develop the executive management team and develop a detailed succession plan for each department, in consultation with each key executive.
  • Solidify exceptional service in all guest touchpoints throughout the property using the authentic care and warmth of the Fijian culture.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a General Manager role with understanding of the Fijian market & Culture.
  • A passion & proven record of coaching, mentoring, developing & inspiring teams.
  • A Senior Industry Leader with a proven track-record of delivering results across multiple properties and embracing the amazing culture of Fiji.
