Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea, positioned in the Kingdom’s groundbreaking Red Sea Project, will provide visitors access to a nature-focused resort. With 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts, including overwater restaurants with views of the Red Sea and the mangroves, and a spa. The resort will be situated next to an 18 hole championship golf course, reflecting Fairmont’s association as a world class golf destination. It will set new standards in sustainable development, positioned on 200km of untouched coastline, an archipelago of more than 90 unspoiled islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine habitat, and ancient archaeological sites.


Job Description

As Cluster Director of Learning & Quality, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning culture across the resorts. You will drive strategic initiatives that enhance leadership capability, elevate guest experiences, and support our commitment to sustainable development and emotional intelligence. In collaboration with senior leadership, you will embed a culture of continuous learning that aligns with our ultra-luxury standards and long-term vision.

  • Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive learning and development strategy tailored to the unique needs of Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea.
  • Conduct regular Training Needs Analyses (TNA) to align talent development with strategic business goals and performance expectations.
  • Partner with Executive Committee members and Department Heads to implement impactful onboarding, leadership development, and technical training programs.
  • Guide and mentor Departmental Trainers, ensuring consistent delivery standards and alignment with brand expectations.
  • Develop and manage the annual Training Calendar, maximizing participation and optimizing resources.
  • Represent the resort in regional Accor learning initiatives, ensuring seamless implementation of corporate programs and tools.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness strategies, including employee engagement, succession planning, and emotional intelligence development.
  • Monitor industry trends to introduce innovative learning methods such as blended learning, microlearning, and e-learning platforms.
  • Champion the INES learning platform, ensuring optimal utilization, content engagement, and data tracking for performance insights.
  • Foster a resort-wide culture of learning and continuous improvement, aligned with the resort’s identity, sustainability mission, and service excellence standards.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Talent & Culture leadership team in shaping talent pipelines and developing frameworks.
  • Certify and develop internal facilitators and trainers to deliver core and custom training across operational and leadership levels.
  • Support brand and cultural initiatives to ensure Accor values and service ethos are reflected in every colleague’s experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry is required.
  • A university/College degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Education, or related discipline is preferred.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications and relevant HR/training systems.
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, coach, and resolve challenges effectively.
  • Highly responsible and reliable, with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and foster a positive, engaging work environment.
  • Guest-oriented mindset with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
