Job Description

At CIEL Spa we fuse scientific innovation with restorative traditional therapies. Choose from a curated suite of personalised therapies designed to enhance vitality, accelerate recovery and support deep regenerative cellular function.

A luxurious coastal bio wellness sanctuary dedicated to improving performance of physiological and mental health through powerful results-based therapies curated with a collection of traditional remedies, cosmetic enhancements, touchless therapy and reconnection rituals to harmonise the body’s energy, enhance vitality, improve quality of rest and longevity.

As the Clinic Manager at Mondrian Gold Coast, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Ciel Spa department, ensuring that guests receive exceptional, personalised service in line with our luxury brand standards. You will lead and manage a team of talented professionals, driving service excellence and achieving departmental goals while fostering a culture of guest satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Director Spa and Wellness, you will work closely with all hotel departments to elevate guest experiences, resolve conflicts, and ensure seamless operations. You will:

  • Lead and oversee the spa team to deliver outstanding and personalised guest services, ensuring all guests receive a warm and courteous welcome.  

  • Anticipate guest needs and preferences, providing recommendations and arranging personalised services, such as treatment bookings, gym enquiries, product enquiries, hotel and package services to enhance the guest experience.  

  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of spa and wellness within the local facilities, wellness events, and services, acting as a spa and cultural connoisseur for Mondrian guests.  

  • Provide services such as massage, facial and body treatments to guests including exclusive VIP guests.   

  • Maintaining Hair and Beauty award regulations for spa operations  

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the spa desk, ensuring all tasks and guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently.  

THE REQUIREMENTS

You will have an ability to understand and navigate complex stakeholder environments with a strong focus and passion for resort operations. You will also have a sound understanding of emerging trends in the industry.  You will:

  • Have demonstrated the ability to coach, mentor, develop and inspire teams.  

  • Be confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills.  

  • Have demonstrated business acumen with the ability to make sound decisions and understand commercial implications. 

  • Have the ability to think strategically and plan on a mid to long term scale. 

  • Have strong personal integrity. 

  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit with drive, ambition and high level of energy. 

  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members. 

  • Be flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Beauty Therapy or similar 
  • Current  – First Aid Certificate
