Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Security to join our Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As the Chief Security, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations, ensuring the safety of our personnel, assets, and information. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment while adapting to evolving threats and challenges.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and policies to protect the organization's assets, personnel, and information
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security department, including staff management, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation measures
  • Design and manage emergency response plans and procedures
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and other relevant authorities to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices
  • Investigate security breaches, incidents, and suspicious activities, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions
  • Implement and maintain cutting-edge security technologies and systems to enhance overall security posture
  • Provide security briefings and training to employees at all levels of the organization
  • Manage security for VIP visits and high-profile events
  • Stay informed about global security trends, emerging threats, and innovative security solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to promote a culture of security awareness

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior security management role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective security strategies
  • Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security in Qatar
  • Certifications in Fire Safety Management, National Skills Recognition System, CPR, and First Aid Management
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Proficiency in security technologies and systems, including surveillance, access control, and alarm systems
  • Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisive actions in high-pressure situations
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work on-call and respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in a diverse, international environment
