  • Project Management: Plan and oversee all maintenance projects, including renovations and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  • Energy Management: Develop and implement energy conservation programs to reduce energy costs and environmental impact.
  • Guest Service: Respond to guest maintenance requests promptly and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Emergency Response: Act as the primary contact for emergencies, including equipment failures, fire evacuations and natural disasters, coordinating response efforts to ensure safety and minimal operational impact.

  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as general building maintenance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to carry out emergency maintenance works outside of normal working hours, in the event of a full power failure, evacuation fire system re-set and/or failure of mechanical systems.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, multitasking and trouble shooting ability.
