As a Chef de Partie, you will be integral to delivering exceptional dining experiences, overseeing kitchen operations, and upholding the highest standards of food safety and quality. You'll have the opportunity to craft exquisite dishes while mentoring and guiding junior staff to help them refine their skills.
This role provides hands-on experience across all areas of kitchen service, including cooking, mise-en-place, and managing specific sections of the kitchen. Your expertise in preparation and cooking techniques will be key as you lead and train the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment for smooth service every day.
- Trade qualifications and prior experience in the hotel industry are preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety requirements.
- Service-oriented with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well with team members at all levels.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
