We’re on the lookout for a skilled Chef de Partie with a strong a la carte background to join our exceptional kitchen team. In this role, you’ll craft high-quality dishes, assist in menu development, and oversee kitchen operations. You’ll also mentor junior staff, uphold food safety standards, and ensure smooth kitchen performance in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare top-notch dishes across various kitchen sections, including a la carte, buffet, larder, mise-en-place, room service, and banquets.
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen at all times.
- Contribute fresh ideas to develop new menu items that enhance the guest dining experience.
- Lead and mentor junior staff, offering training and support to help them grow.
- Apply diverse cooking techniques to deliver consistently exceptional dishes.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the kitchen team.
- Trade qualifications and previous experience in the hotel industry preferred.
- Extensive experience in a la carte
- Knowledge of food safety requirements.
- Service-oriented with an eye for detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change.
