Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Longfield, United Kingdom at the Iconic Brands Hatch Race Circuit. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food quality and presentation while contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.

  • Lead and supervise a section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient workflow
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and customer orders
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and development
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Manage inventory levels and assist in placing orders for supplies and ingredients
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Assist in controlling food costs and minimizing waste
  • Ensure timely and efficient food preparation during service hours
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss menu improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience, including prior work as a Chef de Partie
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and presentation skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
  • Proven commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Proficiency in food cost control and inventory management
  • Customer-focused approach with a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences
