Job Description

  • Assist management to supervise team members under his/her leadership/section and to ensure that all tasks assigned/required in the outlet are carried out on time and according to instruction and departmental standards
  • Coordinate and assist in opening/closing duties and ensure that all settings are completed according to standards and procedures prior to the start of operation
  • Provide outstanding and enthusiastic service to guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience, attending to their needs, and exceeding their expectations
  • Present menus, provide information about specials, answer guests' questions about menu items
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to kitchen and bar colleagues using computerized systems
  • Check guest satisfaction, report any problems, take appropriate action to correct them
  • Maintain a safe, clean, tidy, organized, well-stocked work area, including assigned tables
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset throughout shift
  • Maintain a professional appearance and relationship with colleagues
  • Anticipate guests needs, respond to them promptly and acknowledge guest, however busy and whatever time of the day.
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
  • Assist with the training and development of Food & Beverage Servers
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Collect food and beverage supply requisition, ensure that the stock collected is as per requisition
  • Supervise and assist in assigned work station’s activities and oversee the operation of outlet in the absence of management
  • Assist other Food & Beverage outlets with their operations during peak times or when required
  • Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in the restaurant industry
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage service
  • Experience in managing and training a team
  • Proficient in the use of restaurant POS systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
