- Assist management to supervise team members under his/her leadership/section and to ensure that all tasks assigned/required in the outlet are carried out on time and according to instruction and departmental standards
- Coordinate and assist in opening/closing duties and ensure that all settings are completed according to standards and procedures prior to the start of operation
- Provide outstanding and enthusiastic service to guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience, attending to their needs, and exceeding their expectations
- Present menus, provide information about specials, answer guests' questions about menu items
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to kitchen and bar colleagues using computerized systems
- Check guest satisfaction, report any problems, take appropriate action to correct them
- Maintain a safe, clean, tidy, organized, well-stocked work area, including assigned tables
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset throughout shift
- Maintain a professional appearance and relationship with colleagues
- Anticipate guests needs, respond to them promptly and acknowledge guest, however busy and whatever time of the day.
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
- Assist with the training and development of Food & Beverage Servers
- Other duties as assigned
- Collect food and beverage supply requisition, ensure that the stock collected is as per requisition
- Supervise and assist in assigned work station’s activities and oversee the operation of outlet in the absence of management
- Assist other Food & Beverage outlets with their operations during peak times or when required
- Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
- Other duties as assigned
- 2+ years of experience in the restaurant industry
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service
- Experience in managing and training a team
- Proficient in the use of restaurant POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
