Job Description

To provide efficient food and beverage service to all internal guests in our Cafeteria. To understand all duties and go about your duties in a kind and helpful manner. Adhere to the policies, procedures and standards while serving all co-workers and internal guests.

  • To report to duty punctually in uniform in order to maintain the integrity of co-workers and guests
  • Perform opening and closing duties according to department standards
  • Serve our colleagues duty meals.
  • Ensure tables and cafeteria are cleaned as per standards
  • Familiarize yourself with all aspects policies and procedures
  • Conducts yourself in a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests and colleagues
  • Adhere to the requirements of the controlling/cash system
  • Adhere to specifications of the controllers system relating to cash intake, out take
  • To have a complete understanding of cash-out procedures regarding voids
  • Carry out any other reasonable duty that may be requested that pertains to the total operation of the outlet

Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in a restaurant/food and beverage setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and shift work

Physical Aspects of Position include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must provide proof of eligibility to work in Canada.
