Pullman Sydney Airport is located in the centre of Mascot Business Park and is only a short walk from Mascot train station. The 5 star hotel at Sydney Airport brings contemporary style and functional design with a smart open layout and 229 rooms and suites. The hotel offers a fantastic food and beverage product with Mobius Bar & Grill located on premise. The hotel delivers a creative space for creative thinkers and discerning entrepreneurs via 3 conference rooms and 2 executive lounges.
We are in the hunt for a Part-time (3 days a week) Business Development Executive due to an internal promotion
- Implement proactive sales plans targeting the MICE business group and corporate segment
- Identify and convert sales leads into new business opportunities
- Maintain effective communication with the Director of Sales
- Prompt organisation and delivery of site inspections
- Preparation of proposals and contracts in an accurate manner
- Retain existing customer base by building and developing relationships
- Participate and represent hotel at key industry / trade events
- 1-2 years demonstrated sales experience preferably in hotels
- Experience working with Cvent and Delphi is desirable.
- Strong focus and passion for hotel operations
- Able to be tactful and diplomatic at all times
- Confident and articulate communication, negotiation and networking skills
