Are you fun, energetic and outgoing? Do you love the outdoors and being near the water? If so, the Resort Activities Department is looking for you!

What you will be doing:

• Providing all aspects of guest service to maximize enjoyment of Lake Louise in a safe and enjoyable way.
• Pre-season set up of the canoe docks and post-season winterization of the boat house and docks
• Providing rules and basic canoeing instructions for beginners
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions 
• Processing retail purchases at the cash register
• Ensuring canoes are in clean condition
• To adhere to all Environmental/Health and Safety policies and procedures as required
• Assisting with special events as needed
• Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program
• Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
• Other reasonable duties as assigned

Your skillset includes:

• Current Canadian Boating License
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• University/College education in a related discipline an asset
• Cash handling experience
• Strong knowledge of canoeing
• Excellent guest service skills team work and communication skills
• Able to work independently and see tasks through to completion without supervision
• Highly responsible, self-motivated positive individual
• Knowledgeable about the hotel, surrounding area, and National Parks
• Must possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures
• Capable of lifting and moving canoes (90 pounds+)
• Standing, lifting and bending repetitively
