Job Description

Bilingual Luxury Reservation Sales Consultant

As a Luxury Reservation Sales Consultant, you will be a key member of our sales team.  You'll reserve luxurious brands such as Fairmont while having authentic, unscripted conversations with guests. Our consultants share their expertise and knowledge of our spectacular, iconic properties, like the Fairmont Banff Springs, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, Sofitel Montréal and many more.

  • Taking inbound calls in an unscripted environment, making reservations for historic castles, luxurious resorts, and iconic city hotels while having authentic conversations
  • Help your guests select the right room and package by Turning Moments Into Memories
  • We are known as Heartists® (Heart + Artist); everything we do comes from the heart, and you are free to be creative when talking with our guests

What is in it for you?

  • A starting salary of $20.60 per hour (this includes an hourly language premium of $1.50)
  • Plus, a shift premium of $1.00 from midnight to 3:00am AST
  • Location premium of $0.96 for residence of Québec & Ottawa, Ontario
  • This is a remote position

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Professional level fluency in both French and English is required for this position as calls are received and responded to in both languages
  • Education and/or experience in: sales, customer service, hospitality or tourism
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously while conversing with guests

Location and Availability Requirements:

  • We are recruiting specifically for our closing shifts, which end at 3:00am AST, including some weekend shifts
  • We have options for 8-hour shifts (5 workdays per week) or 10-hour shifts (4 workdays per week). The rotating schedules provide some weekends off
  • This is full-time, permanent, career position, we are not currently hiring for part time schedules, and we do not offer temporary positions for students during school breaks
  • Must be currently legally entitled to work full time in Canada
  • Must be located in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec or the Ottawa region of Ontario, Canada
  • Must be able to commit to 4 weeks onsite in our contact centre in  Moncton for initial training/onboarding
  • Qualified candidates are provided with accommodations travel expenses
  • For remote positions, suitable high-speed internet connection is required (direct connection - (not wireless or satellite) as well as a suitable home workspace
