Our sophisticated La Serre Bar, located in the heart of Wellington City, is seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team. Create memorable mixology whilst indulging your curiosity and passion for different flavours and ingredients. Extending your knowledge of cocktails, spirits and beers, you can delight guests with new taste experiences. Take the pride in serving the drinks they know, just the way they love them and with every perfect serve, the more you can enjoy each day.
 

• Demonstrate the “Passion for Excellence” through serving our guests with flair and professionalism, ensuring that their requests are quickly and efficiently achieved.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including signature cocktails, wines, and spirits
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about our menu offerings
• Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Accurately process customer orders and handle cash and credit card transactions using our POS system
• Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure timely and efficient food service
• Monitor and maintain bar inventory, placing orders for supplies as needed
• Assist in creating new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink specials
• Ensure adherence to responsible alcohol service practices and local regulations.
• Embody the art of French hospitality through a “can do” attitude.
• Ensure all guests are provided with personalised service and that the “Essence of Pleasure” is achieved.
• Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests. 
• Ensure tables and service areas are kept clean and tidy.

• At least 1 year experience in a luxury 5 star hotel
• At least 1 year experience Bartending and Cocktail Mixoligist experience
• Innovative and ability to create new cocktails to suprise and delight our guests
• Previous experience in Fine dining breakfast and dinner service
• Previous experience in luxury banqueting service
• Previous experience in Barista and Café style service
• Knowledge on gastronomy and beverages 
• Use of Micros is a bonus
• Strong presentation and organisation skills
• Ability to work in the fast paced environment and be proactive
• Previous hotel or administration experience
• Positive bubbly personality
