Role Overview: 

Join the distinguished team at DELANO Dubai as a Barista, where your passion for coffee meets exceptional service. As a Barista, you will be at the heart of our vibrant café or bar area, crafting exquisite coffee beverages and providing a delightful experience for our guests. Your expertise will ensure that every cup reflects the sophistication and elegance of our luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coffee Preparation: Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other specialty beverages with precision and flair. Ensure that every drink is served to the highest standard of DELANO Dubai.

• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests to create memorable experiences, offering personalized recommendations and maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor. Anticipate guest preferences and provide exceptional service at all times.

• Product Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and the various products offered. Share your knowledge with guests to enhance their experience and guide them in selecting their perfect beverage.

• Maintain Cleanliness & Organization: Ensure the coffee station, equipment, and surrounding areas are kept clean, organized, and well-maintained. Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

• Order Management: Efficiently manage multiple orders, ensuring prompt service and accuracy. Maintain an orderly flow in a busy café or bar environment while providing attention to detail in every beverage.

• Assist with Stock & Inventory: Help manage inventory for coffee beans, syrups, teas, and other beverage-related products. Notify supervisors of any stock shortages or product issues to maintain smooth operations.

• Support Team Collaboration: Work closely with the front-of-house team, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service and contribute to the overall team effort in creating a memorable guest experience.

• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of coffee industry trends, new brewing techniques, and innovative beverage offerings to continually enhance your skills and improve the guest experience.

• Luxury Experience: You have a proven track record in a luxury hospitality environment - luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, or speciality coffee shop, showcasing your ability to deliver sophisticated and discreet service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Exceptional Skills: Your communication and interpersonal skills are exemplary, allowing you to engage with guests in a refined manner that enhances their experience.
• Operational Knowledge: You’re proficient in luxury hotel operations and management software, with a solid understanding of sophisticated service protocols that ensure smooth operations.
• Educational Background: A relevant educational qualification, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience, is preferred, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
