We're looking for a charismatic and energetic Night Mixologist to bring personality, creativity, and genuine hospitality to Clarkes Bar. This is more than serving drinks—it's about creating an inviting atmosphere where guests can relax, connect, and enjoy memorable evenings.
What you'll be doing:
- Crafting and serving a range of beverages with skill, flair, and attention to detail.
- Engaging with guests and delivering warm, personalised service that leaves a lasting impression.
- Creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that encourages guests to unwind and enjoy their evening.
- Working closely with the team to ensure the bar is well-stocked, organised, and ready for service.
- Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of Clarkes Bar, ensuring every guest enjoys a premium experience.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the hotel to deliver seamless guest experiences.
What we're looking for:
Someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and brings positive energy to every shift. Previous bar experience is essential, and so is a passion for hospitality, a willingness to learn, and a great attitude.

Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous bar experience preferred
- LCQ is essential or have the ability to obtain one
- Service focused personality and a high standard of presentation is essential
- A passion for creating an engaging but professional evening atmosphere
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

The Novotel Rotorua Lakeside and Ibis Rotorua Lakeside is a dual branded complex hotel with 344 rooms located in central Rotorua.
