Job Summary: The Bartender will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere at the bar, crafting high-quality beverages, and delivering exceptional service to our guests. This role requires expertise in mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage a busy bar environment with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of drink recipes and presentation.
  • Create and innovate new cocktails and beverage offerings in line with guest preferences and seasonal trends.

• Guest Service:

  • Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable bar experience.
  • Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on guest preferences and current menu offerings.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly, ensuring resolution to the guest’s satisfaction.

• Bar Operations:

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the proper storage and handling of beverages, glassware, and utensils.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and food safety practices.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other bar and restaurant staff to ensure seamless service and communication.
  • Assist in training new bar staff and provide guidance to ensure high standards of service and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

• Upselling and Recommendations:

  • Promote and upsell bar menu items, including specialty cocktails, wine pairings, and seasonal promotions.
  • Stay informed about beverage trends, new products, and industry best practices to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role within a high-end establishment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mixology, bartending techniques, and drink recipes is essential.
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service or similar qualifications may be required.

• Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
